Tulsa Roofing Company- Coming Soon

The Tulsa roofing company has a couple of events and promotions happening in 2016. What exactly are they? When will they take place?

To kick off the new year, our team decided to put together a promotion for the first quarter of the year. How do you participate? Social media. Social media outlets are the prime spot to see promotions because on average, you will check your multiple outlets at least three times a day.

You will first start seeing the promotion previews and snippets starting Tuesday, February 1 on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you don’t follow us already, our Instagram handle is: @roofscapesok, Twitter: @RoofscapesExter, and Facebook: RoofscapesExteriorsLLC.

The snippets will include photography, sneak peeks, and certain dates to be alerted of. Once the promotion begins on February 15, you will see a Facebook post from us on our Roofscapes Exteriors LLC page. It will remain pinned at the top, so no need to hunt down the post. Once you’re on our page, you will want to do two things in order to ENTER TO WIN.

  1. LIKE our Facebook page: Roofscapes Exteriors LLC
  2. SHARE our post about the promotion

Throughout the promotion, you will see us posting about other ways to get more entries to WIN! So, stay tuned and keep an eye out on February 1 for clues leading up to our promotion start on February 15!

In coordination with the promotion, we will be at the Home & Garden Show again this year! Tulsa’s Home & Garden Show will take place on March 10-13 at the River Spirit Expo at Expo Square.

Roofscapes will have a booth at the show with quality roofing solutions and roof replacement information. Our booth will incorporate the promotion, so keep on the lookout for what’s going to happen at the show!

If you want to purchase tickets for the Home & Garden Show, you can purchase online or at the door.

Tulsa Roofing Company- Community Involvement

One of our other biggest events during the year is No Roof Left Behind. The No Roof Left Behind program is set out to help the community by providing families with suitable roofing for their homes that they aren’t able to afford.

This program runs on nominations, which means that the community can nominate families that have a sentimental story as to why they should be chosen. The stories that are heard describe how the families help others out, but aren’t financially stable to support themselves. No Roof Left Behind renovates the whole roofing system with a new roof, siding, and gutters.

The best part about the program is seeing the family’s faces when they are the winner, and the finished result of their home with the durable roofing system.

Since there are lots of things to look forward to within the community and social media involvement, keep checking our accounts for further information on all three of these, plus more throughout 2016! What better way to kick off the new year with a slam dunk of a promotion!

Roof Replacement Tulsa- What’s Needed

Roof Replacement Tulsa- When you’re investing in your home, you’re wanting to create something substantial to last for a long time. Having your roof replaced is one of the investments you’ll make when renovating a home.

The renovation process can be daunting, but many people choose that path. Why? Because people don’t want to move and would rather keep investing on what they’ve previously invested in, which is their mortgage. Whatever you put into your home, you’ll most likely get back depending on the market.

People will look beyond the beautiful interior such as the kitchen with granite countertops and a metal oven hood. For example, if you’re wanting to resell your home and your roof as a leak, most buyers won’t get beyond that. A leak can lead to many structural and foundation problems that cost more money.

When you’re investing money into your roof replacement, you’ll want to have a quality product and contractor installing it. Choosing the correct materials for your home is key. You’ll want to ask yourself these questions when looking into getting a roof replacement.

  • Does the material meet the fire codes and regulations in your area?
  • How heavy is the material?
  • Does the roofing material require special framing?
  • Does this type of roofing offer good performance?
  • Is it eco-friendly?
  • What is the cost, life span, and warranty?
  • Can this roofing system withstand common weather within your area?

These are the questions you’ll want to be asking yourself when you’re in store for a roof replacement Tulsa.

How long do roof replacements take? The process can take anywhere up to a couple of days. The process includes removing all existing shingles remaining, rolling those shingles up, and removing them completely from the roof. After those shingles are removed, the entire roof has to be inspected for further repairs and damage before placing down the new roofing system.

One major element to consider when getting it replaced is implementing an ice dam protection. The ice dam protection is essential for your roofing system because it prevents build up during the winter season and ice. The ice can cause damage to the interior of your home. So, having this piece helps prevent that.

As for the social aesthetics of the roof, it can bring the exterior of your home to the next level. The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) says, “It’s really an opportunity to upgrade your home in terms of look, style, and color.”

The exterior of your home is just as important as the interior. Taking care of minor improvements such as a new paint job and a light fixture along with your major improvement of a roof can upgrade the cost of your home extremely.

If you’re in the market for an upgrade to the exterior of your home, give us a call today for a roof replacement Tulsa!

Caution: Ice Dams

An ice dam is a ridge of ice that can build up and form at the edge of your roof. When snow builds up on your roof, the snow underneath will start to melt from the heat your house is creating. This meltwater will then run down to the eaves, and because eaves tend to be the coldest point on the roof, it freezes. Once this happens, meltwater will continue to run down the roof, and the ice will continue to grow due to the initial ice that froze in the eave of the roof. As the meltwater continues to drip with nowhere to go, a water backup will occur.

Standing water and your roof are never a happy mix. If you see this happening contact us right away for a free inspection.
